While the past few decades have seen the creation of such classic Spider-Man villains as Venom, Carnage and Morlun, there can be no doubting the fact that the real classics were brought to life in the 1960's by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. With The Amazing Spider-Man bringing the Lizard to the big screen for the first time, most fans are hoping to see more of the duos characters introduced in the recently announced sequel. Although Sam Raimi's trilogy gave us Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Sandman, there is nothing stopping new director using them again...especially as the portrayal of them in the past was vastly different to the originals in many respects. I asked you guys to vote on which of these classic villains you'd most like to see when the sequel hits the big screen on May 4th, 2014, and the results were quite the shocker...
That's right, it was Mysterio who came out on top! Personally, I thought it would be the Green Goblin or someone like Electro who would win by a mile, and while they along with Kraven and Scorpion did well, you guys clearly see the potential in the master of illusions facing off against Spidey!
