lol When he's asked about the 3D, you can see he didn't practice his bullshit response. He's fluent when scratching back about 500 days of summer, but totally stumbles trying make the 3D seem different.

Sounds great, not too sure about the First Person Point of View stuff. It was okay-ish in the trailer, but I don't want too much in the actual movie. 3 very short sequences AT THE MOST.
Otherwise, I AM LOVING THIS MOVIE SO FAR.

Shut the [frick]c up, Grif. The suit is great, but not perfect and the POV is meh. But this will be awesome. When you see this movie, you will be blown away.

well shes not dying in this one ... i think 3 films for her would be cool, also they better not have the green goblin be one and done like they did last time, hes spideys archnemesis, you wouldnt kill lex luthor in the first superman movie would you

Funny how people who hate this movie first said:

"Budget is too low, it's gonna suck"

Then its announced the the budget is much higher

Then they say:

"The movie's just gonna be bad because of the suit, shit actors, yada yada"

Then the EW mag shows some really sweet shots and they say:

"It's stupid because it looks like Twilight"

Then the trailer comes out and its NOTHING like Twilight, and they say:

"Movie is too dark, Spidey should be funny, shit movie. Batman copy."

And now Comic Con proves a wiseass Spidey that people wanted. While also showing some genuine talent from the actors, that MULTIPLE websites have been impressed by.

Now lets move on to disprove the next crappy complaint -______-

Seriously though, people need to stop complaining and wait for the movie. It's shaping up really well, so those people don't even make sense.

K, everything seems great about this movie so far but the POV scenes. I honestly can't wait. Just get rid of the POV scenes though ugh, feel like it'll ruin a few scenes.

@fsucsu

I'm not tell you to not have your opinion. I think you should re-read.

Like when people complained about the dark Spidey and it was disproved by the wiseass Spidey in Comic Con. Thats not opinion. Its FACT.

If you think the trailer was horrible, so be it, but clearly many of the complaints in general HAVE been disproved. Thats my point.

Every one can relax now!
If you listen to this interview and the countless comic con recaps you'll realize that Webb is bringing the humor to the character (and from what many recaps are saying it is done way better than the Rami movies). He is also focusing on the characters more, making them real and giving them depth like Nolan has done with his Batman characters. I think this has potential to be far superior to the Rami films. (which personally i don't like because of the extreme cheesiness and the fact that they haven't held up well over time)

I also could never get over how corny the green goblin was and how bulky Tobey was as Spider man.

not a fan of the first person perspective but the film looks good overall, spidey deserves a darker tone.

"On that note. Joker in TDK was hilarious in the nurses dress."

You and I both know that doesn't prove a point. The tone of the humor is COMPLETELY different there

First Person..leave it to FPS games...this + 3D may make people vomit and induce nausea.

@MovieMann
stop advocating for webb,10 years later when Spider-man well be rebooted the second time you will be criticizing webb and talking in favor of the then director.

I love the casting but dislike the same origin story being retold again.

Oh, first person is pretty awesome in 3D. Hope they don't over do it, though.

@thesymbiote people were complaining the reboot Spiderman wasnt going to be funny and had less jokes because thats what the film makers said. They are not superhappy with the costume because re resembles a blue and red basketball. And the teaser is going in a very dark direction. But we will see when it comes out.

But seeing the pov shots in 3d on the teaser this will not be a movie I would see in 3d and may bring a bottle of advil just in case even for the 2d version
