Spider-Man is a spectacular adventure for the wall-crawler and now that Insomniac has mapped out New York City, it's easy to imagine them being able to get a sequel in stores at some point in the next few years. Throw in the fact that the signs are all pointing to it being a hit and we know it's going to happen. The question is, what should we expect from the video game sequel when it's released?

Well, some major hints are dropped in the after-credits scenes and we have all the details on them for you right here. From certain characters suiting up down the line to new villains debuting to make Peter Parker's life difficult, there's a lot to get excited about here but be warned that major spoilers obviously follow. So, to check them out, all you guys have to do is click on the "View List" button down below.

After-Credits Scene #1

The first scene takes place a couple of weeks after the game's main story concludes and features Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson back in their favourite diner, finally patching up their relationship and once again growing close. The wall-crawler mentions that he'll be crashing on Miles Morales' couch for a few days while he waits for his new apartment and that nicely sets the stage for the second scene...

After-Credits Scene #2

Miles is helping Peter move furniture and starts to ask his new friend about some "weird changes" he's started going through that he can't really talk to his mother about. While it's initially played for laughs, Miles then leaps to the ceiling and strikes a classic Spider-Man pose. Peter acknowledges that it's not so weird because he also jumps to the ceiling and they share a smile as the screen fades to back.

After-Credits Scene #3

One the full credits have rolled, the third and final scene plays and shows Norman Osborn visiting a secret room in his penthouse apartment. There, we see the suspended, sleeping body of Harry Osborn: it turns out that he's not in Europe and is actually suffering from the degenerative disorder that killed his mother. Norman is working tirelessly to save him and promises he'll find a cure...no matter what.

What's interesting about this scene is that Norman is bathed in green, so it could be that this is a major hint that the Mayor of New York City will wind up transforming himself into the evil Green Goblin!

What They Tease For The Future

So, the game sets the stage for both the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man and Norman Osborn to undergo a villainous transformation as he attempts to save his son. Whether or not all of this will be addressed in the DLC or sequel remains to be seen but share your thoughts with us down below.

Interesting news: Rocksteady has put out new job lists with stuff referencing an AAA game for next generation & requires people with a “Broad knowledge of comics”

Rocksteady is hiring community managers too which suggests that Rocksteady is gearing up for a huge announcement and promo campaign for their next AAA title. The listing says:

“Additionally, the role will frequently involve live gameplay presentations for various audiences.”

So its almost confirmed at this point that they are releasing a game very soon.

Josh got the whole scene wrong. I’m 90% certain you didn’t play the game who watch a video showing what happened because he missed out that Norman is using the symbiote on Harry to cure him

Cool game, great story. I still don't, and never will, buy Doc Ock as the threat they make him out to be. One punch on the middle aged scientist's chin should end any conflict with him. Or a bullet.

Seriously, how is this old man with no durability powers/armor supposed to take a punch from Spiderman?
