THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2: 'Shocker' And 'Sin-Eater' Teased In Latest Daily Bugle Viral

The latest news story on Sony's Daily Bugle viral site for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 reveals a battle between Spidey and "disgruntled engineer" Herman Schultz who "created wrist-gauntlets that are capable of emitting a vibratory wave of pressure". We also get a tease of Sin Eater! Check it out.

A shocking Midtown bank robbery was foiled yesterday by Spider-Man. New York’s superhuman vigilante caught the mechanically augmented robber, suspected in two previous bank heists, as he fled the scene with the stolen loot.

Police arrived on the scene as Spider-Man finished webbing up the suspect, who was arrested and later identified as disgruntled engineer, Herman Schultz. Schultz created wrist-gauntlets that are capable of emitting a vibratory wave of pressure that proved capable of tearing apart a four-foot thick steel vault.

NYPD Special Crimes Unit Detective Stan Carter stated that Schultz had officially been remanded into custody and is being held at the Ravencroft Institute pending his preliminary hearing. When asked how a “disgruntled engineer” could create such dangerous weapons, Carter said, “Shocking, right? All that genius but no escape plan.”

So, that's Shocker confirmed for this universe then (and it sounds like they're going for the Ultimate version), but what about Sin-Eater? For those of you who don't know, Stan Carter was revealed to be the violent vigilante who famously murdered Captain Jean Dewolff. He also has ties to Venom's origins, so this could be a hint at what's to come! What do you guys think?

Shocker awesome but these viral are now dumb and waste of time. If shocker is not In the movie why talk about him they just wasted a good villain for this? These viral have little impact has nothing much related to film so I don't care any more.

Batman and Spiderman has the most complex baddies out there and these baddies need a lot of screen time which I do not see happening in the future TASM movies.

@ Pending

Your "find anything to bitch about regarding this movie" routine is getting old. Please go back in the corner and continue to cry about Spider Man 4 not getting made.

@Napoleon- Fanboys are going to complain regardless. Even though Avengers made a BILLION dollars fanboys are just now starting to say "You know what, Avengers really wasn't that good of a movie".
With that being said; Pending is going to be watching TASM2 on opening day, sitting right next to me, telling me some lame @ss Spiderman facts.

Well Avengers is a great movie but total box office does make a movie good. Heck if that was the case then we should all agree that the Transformers franchise is awesome.

@ RealRemy

Obviously you just like to twist peoples comments to start arguments. My point I was making was they are going to just throw in a bunch of bad guys without developing them completely. Again if you read my full comment I said that Batman and Spiderman has the most complex baddies out there and they need a lot of screen time to develop their history etc.....

The Amazing Spider-Man 2's viral marketing is THE coolest. I love how immersed in the Spider-Verse all these Bugle articles make me feel. I have a feeling this will be known as THE BEST Spider-Man film yet, and I feel that a lot of haters will have to suck it up.
