Spider-Man 4 is NOT in Trouble!

SPIDER-M4N SHOULD BE ON INDEFINITE HOLD!!! THEY HAVE THE WRONG SCRIPT!!!! They have the vulture script when they should have had the Kraven/Lizard script ALL ALONG!!! They should realise that the fans are going APESHIT and want a GOOD Spider-Man film for the 4th!!!

There's a character that's been built so then MUST be used. His character is a "Jekyl/Hyde" concept which we all know, doesn't pull it's own weight for a feature blockbuster if it wants to break even or have a chance at making a profit IN OUR DAY AND AGE. Now... since we have a beast on our hands which has an emotional tie with the hero, who's the threat? Who could be interfering with the duo in order to spice things up? In other words, who would be best equipt to hunt the beast or a spider/man??? KRAVEN!!! Of course Kraven alone can't pull his own weight either, IT'S THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO WHICH MAKES FOR THE PERFECT LOVE/HATE/HUNT TRIANGLE!!! You'd hardly even need a love story in this one aside from Kraven & Calipso's!!! I don't know about you guys, but that just SCREAMS box office CASH!!! How the [frick] could someone brainfart Vulture & Vulturess over a LOGICAL and WINNING concept??? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Ugh. Just shoot me or Sam Raimi for that matter.

It's a simple matter, I think. Raimi was forced to use characters he didn't want in SM3 and the movie was a mess as a result. Let him tell the story he wants, using the characters he wants, and hopefully it will go back to the level of quality from the first two.

My only concern remains the Vulturess character, if that's even true.

Otherwise, let Raimi make the movie he's already planning on so he can move on to the next classic villain he wants to use.

Kind of a tangent but anyone else wondering if Raimi is gonna do a Darkman or Evil Dead sequel?

The Lizard and Kraven(Gerard Butler)for part 4. Most people want this, and right now GB is very popular in Hollywood. Just introduce Felicia 'Black Cat' as well and you have a movie, keep her mysterious in this film and then in part 5 a more bigger role.

Ok good I figured.

Now back to worrying whether this Vulturess crap is true.

and @shaman, I totally agree with the villain choices, but I don't think the villains have a big part to do with the box office; people are going to go see the movie. Even if, god forbid, it's the Vulturess.

how is kraven overrated?? he was one of spidey's worst enemies, and the stories he was in were some of the best. he put spidey through some serious tests. the story where he buries spidey alive is recognized as one of the best spidey stories of all time. and when kraven blew his own brains out? that was some of the best drama you'll see in a comic.

kraven is a great villain, and he has almost no gimmick or campiness involved.

Kraven would be a good addition to the Spider-Man franchise and Lizard has to be there because we have all been waiting for him. Kraven should come to NY after hearing about a giant lizard, thinking it would be a good mantle piece he shows up and hunts NY for the Lizard. For a short time him and Peter will be on the same side thus having the "one villain" for awhile. Then Spidey and Kraven after defeating the Lizard can duke it out for the rest of the film. Black cat can make a cameo near the end for a love triangle to be fleshed out in 5 and 6.

if 5 and 6 are done together like they are saying, it should be lizard as the main and kraven as the secondary. and use the last hunt storyline. that would be cool. the last hunt was kravens best storyline anyway.now i think they could do that and raimi could kill him off, just like in the comics. in 6 still have the lizard but have chameleon. since him and kraven are half brothers.and even though kraven was mean to him, he still be out for revenge. they could build up to lizard in 4 by having dylan baker playing a major role in the film. showing his love for his family and his inner turmoil of experimenting on himself to regrow his arm back. end 4 with him trying it out on himself.
