VIDEO GAMES: Beenox Release VGA AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Teaser Trailer, Artwork And Details

Marvel has released an HD version of the Amazing Spider-Man teaser trailer as well as new artwork and details from the game and an update to the Beenox website. A full trailer is also promised for next week during Spike TV's VGA Awards.

Marvel has today revealed the first official trailer, details and artwork for The Amazing Spider-Man video game, a tie-in which will serve as an epilogue occurring after the events of the movie. The game will also see the return of free-roaming web-slinging as well as improvements to the navigation and combat systems in a storyline which will see the hero, "protecting Manhattan from a variety of criminals." Beenox are developing the game which features an original narrative from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena writer Seamus Kevin Fahey. Also mentioned is the game's new "Web Rush Mechanic" which will allow players to pull off never before seen moves in battles which apparently take place above AND below the streets of Manhattan. Below is the VGA teaser trailer, official concept art and the updated website design.









The full trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man will air during Spike TV's Video Game Awards on Saturday, December 10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Click HERE to visit the official website.

No 1st person SM? I think that would actually work better in the game than on film because when I'm watching a movie of SM I want to watch SM, when I'm in a game I'd like to feel like SM. But oh well.

Still it looks pretty good actually.

holy crap that looks fun, texture on the city is a bit lacking but I'm inner child is remembering spiderman 2 on the xbox so happy days

Loving the Beenox Spidey games!!! Maybe this will be the equivalent of the "Spiderman 2" adaptation which was the first open world Spidey game!!

GUNSMITH- That pic showcasing the new suit makes it seem like he's got a little belly hanging over his "red belt", which he doesn't really have. Such a bad design.

dragonking555- The color scheme and the textures are awesome. The design sucks so much ass though, no matter how cool his moves are in it.
