In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.



Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.

Kinda sick of this film already, looks like a bunch of action scenes with zero substance...and with all the trailers and TV spots it feels like they've released 95% of the film through adds already. It's a shell of the Raimi films...

Nope, I'm not there. Like the rest of you, I've seen so much in the trailers and everything that my interest in the movie is minimal. Hell, I haven't even watched half the TV spots and featurettes, but still feel like I've seen the whole damn thing!

@Canon108 Please tell me how any trailers or tv spots contain "substance". Heck, I wouldn't even say The avengers trailers had any substance. Trailers are supposed to show awesome footage.

This is not a movie I am clamoring to see ASAP, I am curious to see it though, and am making room in my CBM collection next to ASM. I just hope it's one I can watch more than once (looking at you Ghostrider: SoV). ASM1 was better than I expected, so hoping this one is too, because I think it looks so much worse than the first so far.

i will say this movie has done the worst job of hiding gwens death, i keepnreading "i dont wanna spoil, but it gets dark in the end"... well wonder what that could mean... and stones reactions to questions is also soooo telling...
