SUICIDE SQUAD Blitz Trailer - Ten Things You Missed

A new Suicide Squad trailer titled Suicide Squad Blitz has landed! And there’s a whole lot of Easter Eggs, References and story details contained within it.  We get a closer look at the weapons of Harley Quinn, Deadshot and Captain Boomerang as well as hints at what Jared Leto’s Joker will be up to.

Such as him striking some kind of deal with Common’s character known only as Monster T (though rumoured to be The Tattooed Man).  Not to mention more hints towards which Suicide Squad member will die first and when as well as us getting closer to who the real villain of the film is.

There’s also some comparison’s between this Joker and the one from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s New 52 Batman run as well as a whole lot of Batman! Who may have given up his Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice murderous ways. Maybe. I hope so at least.

Of course as always there’s a very good chance I’ve missed some substantial Easter Eggs and references so feel free to leave any thoughts you have in the comments below! And be sure to subscribe to Mr Sunday's YouTube channel, youtube.com/mrsundaymovies. If you want.  No pressure.

That's my favorite shot of the joker so far.

Immediately thought of Endgame seeing that Joker shot.

Can. Not. Wait.

@MattBellissimo - in many shots he doesn't even look like Leto. It's pretty cool when an actor can male themselves unrecognizable.

I call it the anti will smith affect.

@MattBellissimo - I kinda wish they went with a little more facial prosthetics with this joker. Like they did with Nicholsons smile. I'd love to see a Joker with a more elongated, crooked nose. This one just seems a little hipsterish in look to me.

But this movie looks pretty awesome never the less.

Also.

"This all takes place in the same 'Batman-murdering' universe."

What are the monster things that are crumbling when they hit them with swords?

@tugboy - No one knows. Speculation that they're soldiers corrupted by Enchantress.

@tugboy - It does look like that CGI monster is Joker. The green and purple colors give it away. I bet Joker gets a hold of Enchantresses witch power.

Good catch on Common in the mirror - was trying to figure that out. Looked like a fat white guy to me for some reason, but obviously not!

I think Enchantress is the MacGuffin and Joker is the villain - he wants to unleash the demon that's possessed her, or something. Leto's hinted that we're going to be seeing a supernatural, hundred-year-old Joker, which makes sense, given the visual nods to Snyder and Capullo. We're perhaps seeing Tattooed Man as a host for the demon during that subway battle.

@Mick808 - not if they address it in this movie or JL. No machine guns on the batmobile and him saving Harley gives me some hope of this is after Batman V superman.

Gosh. That "Rotten" tattoo is almost as bad as the "Damaged" tattoo.

I truly believe Leto is going to do a great job-he's a phenomenal talent. It's just that I don't like the path DC is taking with most of their characters. Ugh. It pains me.

I wonder if we will ever see the day where we can get a "classic" Joker/Harley/Batman on film. This modern take on all the characters disturbs my calm.

@ENigmaShow - if Leto makes this Joker work, I'll idolise him because honestly this hot topic joker looks terrible. Like, Joel Schumacher terrible.

I actually enjoy Batman's murderous ways. I enjoy them...a lot. Hope he keeps it up.

@3rdiguy - Well, you may have to wait for the next Snyder movie. Doesn't look like Batman has a lot of opportunity for murder in this one.

@BestAtWhatIDo - Too bad! Maybe Snyder should do the solo Batfleck movie. Plot twist: Joker didn't murder Jason. It was Batman who did that.
