With filming finally underway on James Gunn's
The Suicide Squad, the first batch of set photos from Atlanta have made their way online, courtesy of
Just Jared, revealing our first look at some of the massive ensemble cast in colorful new costumes.
While details on the scene they were caught filming are currently unknown, the actors featured in the photos, which you can view in full at the link below, include returning star Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang) alongside new castmates Nathan Fillion (Arm-Fall-Off-Boy), Pete Davidson (Blackguard), Michael Rooker (Savant), Flula Borg (Javelin), Sean Gunn (Weasal) and Mayling Ng (Mongal).
Also, considering the lack of some of the film's bigger stars, which include Idris Elba, Margot Robbie, John Cena, Taika Waititi and more, it's fair to wonder whether some of these lesser known characters seen here will make it out of this scene alive.
