The casting website, acting-auditions.org, has made a post inform Michigan residents how they can become an extra in in Man of Steel 2. The various information that they provide about the film's potential titles, "Batman vs. Superman" and "Superman vs. Batman" come from a statement that David Goyer made at San Diego Comic-Con (which is mentioned on acting-auditions.org's post). As for plot, they simply state what we already know, "will feature Superman and Batman meeting for the first time in a cinematic format."

As for Detroit being Gotham in the new film, well the site explains, "Detroit is being touted as the location that will stand-in for Gotham City." Once again, just regurgitating information that we've already heard from various sites.

The owner of Acting-Auditions.org stated in a previous interview "information [is] sent to me directly from casting directors and production companies" in addition to doing his own research.

I don't think the movie will be called World's finest. I mean, let's be honest. Superman and Batman sells, World's finest doesn't. WB/DC will find someway to include both names.

Although I don't like Ben for the choice of Batman, I'm taking my family to see this movie hoping that he proves my ass wrong with a good to great performance. Besides, I'm not missing it for the world and I'm hoping he sports that outfit up there in the poster.

I wonder why if you are filming some of the movie in Detroit why not Windsor too? I mean because they are really close after all. You could even make it look like the rich live on the one side of the river and the poor on the other.

WB/DC is known for not calling the film by the hero's name (The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Arrow etc.) They most likely won't put their names in the title. Probably, but probably not. They should just call it "World's Finest" after trailers and tv spots, people will know what it's about without referring to the title.

And please, take out the vs.

World's Finest will sell why because more then likely it will have the Bat symbol overlaying the Superman symbol and it really would take a rocket scientist to figure out it's a Superman/Batman movie if it's marketed that way.

Call it World's Finest: Superman and Batman. Let it be a team up, there's no need to have them fighting just yet.

I gotta agree with the majority here and say take out the "vs" from the title. This film isn't going to be a beat 'em up film between two heroes. I mean, yes, somewhere in the film a conflict between the two titular characters will likely happen, but to have a versus in the title (Batman vs Superman, or vice versa), they're making it sound like a 2 1/2 hour film of just Supes and Bats going head-to-head. Like some if the CBMers have greatly suggested, have it called either:
World's Finest <--- This being my second choice
Man of Steel 2: World's Finest
Superman/Batman
Superman/Batman: World's Finest <--- I'd honestly go with this as my first choice

But yeah, either way, it depends on how they market this. Like @unknownfacts said, the logo for this film is the Superman symbol overlaying Batman's symbol, so seeing that wouldn't take that much to know that this is a Superman/Batman team-up film.

So it's more of a vs's movie? Damn i was hoping they would both team up and work together.

Just call the movie "World's Finest"

This movie better not be called Batman Vs. Superman! I have never even seen a good "Vs." movie...

Given the quote that Snyder had read at Comic Con: "I want you to remember, Clark, that I beat you." etc, I think it's a fair bet that this'll be a versus movie.

Lazy casting is gonna ruin this franchise.

Too many old or middle-aged people in roles suited for younger actors to stretch over ten years or more.

Ben Afflecks large bum chin and huge head is gonna ruin the Batsuit.

Kevin Costner's name isn't on the main cast list on the auditions website... No more flashbacks of Pa Kent? I loved Costner's performance, I hope MOS wasn't the last of him.
