We've been talking about Man of Steel for quite some time now. The critics, (the majority of them) don't believe Man of Steel was true to the character and that the film lacked humor (still rankles a bit when I see this, the Marvel way is not the ONLY way). Nevertheless, it's safe to say that the film is currently over-performing. Initially, estimates forecast an $80 million dollar opening weekend but that's since gone up to $100M and now even higher at ~$125M, with some reports speculating it could earn even more than that! But just because a film earns a lot of money doesn't necessarily prove that it's a 'good' film (plenty examples out there of this). Did you enjoy Man of Steel, was it the Superman film you were always waiting for? Or were you ever even anticipating a Superman film, after all, his popularity these days has waned considerably.
