Smallville: Finale Interview - Should the Last Episode Be Called "Superman"?

Even though we're only at the mid-point of the season, eyes are already turning towards the Smallville series finale, and executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders have been interviewed on the subject by TVline.com.

Among the highlights:

TWO-HOUR FINALE?

BRIAN PETERSON: "it's a possibility. We'd love that and it feels like the right way to end."

KELLY SOUDERS: "We don't know yet. The beauty of it is that the last two episodes go hand-inhand, so no matter what happens, it will be an event."

GIVEN SMALLVILLE'S SINGLE WORD TITLES, WILL THE FINALE BE "SUPERMAN"?

KELLY SOUDERS: “That is not safe to say. We were actually just talking about it [on Friday], and we still don’t have a title. And literally, with the amount of stuff we have to lock down for that episode, the title is the least of our problems. It might be a no-brainer [such as 'Superman'], but I”m not sure."
