My god I hated this show, the acting was awful

That first season did NOT sell well at all, hence the lack of seasons 2-4.

A lot of the acting WAS awful, but the cool thing about the show is that after the miserable first season, they really delved into the comics for storylines and villains.

@comic2004 how can you call someone ignorant for being to young to have watched a show? That's like calling you ignorant for not watching one of Shakespeare's plays back in the 1500s, or for not watching a gladiator battle over 2000 years ago!

@ spidery1994, wow I forgot how cheesy that series was...that clip of Metallo was bad, but remember when Lex Luger became the new Superboy.

The first season of this show was kind of "meh", but it really got a lot better in its later seasons. I really enjoyed it, and I wish they'd put the rest of the episodes out on DVD.

Ouch...that was painful to watch. That's worse than watching Routh attempt to act.

I am not familiar with the series at all and judging from the two clips I will keep it that way. Can't blame it on the age as I was watching the George Reeves' Superman when I was younger. ;-)

That's funny. And I like his pink shirt and white pants...very dated.

I bought season one the week it came out. This show was a 30min show (with commercials), utter cheese, but was fun to watch. The cast all tried, and seemed to have fun doing so. Lana Lang was played by Stacy Stacy Haiduk. :) I'd love to own the rest, even out of nostalgia sake. Maybe it'll show up one day still.
