On Casting Amy Adams As Lois Lane:

"Amy is really just an amazing talent. I think she grounds the part in a really amazing way, for me anyway. She's beautiful and she's smart. What we're trying to do with the project, she just really sort of embodies everything we're going for."


On Casting Henry Cavill As Superman:

"As you know, he was up for the role before. That was 8 years ago I think. And I think now, the thing's that awesome, the thing that i love about him is that he's a man. And I think it's been a while since we had a manly Superman. And also, he has this little bit of kindness which is important."


On Whether General Zod Will Be The Villain:

"I like that there's this whole process of elimination. I can't say exactly who it is. As you know, this is a secret project! I hope that when people do find out that they like it, because we think it's the right guy we're going after.

Well from what I heard Cavill is getting into Superman shape as we speak and I think allowing his hair to grow so they can get it ready to cut and dye for the film. Maybe Synder knows what he's doing as long as he keeps the Kents in Clark's life. I'm getting tired of them always wanting to keep killing Jonathan.

Well, he did say that he hopes when we find out who it is...that we'll like it because they feel it's the right guy they're going after.

Could be Brainiac still. Snyder wants us to like the decision they made...and i'm sure he knows Zod would be a rehash so we wouldn't like that.

In the video it seemed like he kinda laughed off the Zod question just a bit.

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY- Nolan's wife already said this is a "hands off" producing job, meaning it's all up to Snyder. Honestly, I can only assume Nolan's name is attached to garner hype.

being so damn anxious for news on this movie, i was psyched when Snyder first spoke about it. now i just want him to shutup. let us suffer until you have some massive news. otherwise, you're just going to saturate everyone and the big news will be no big deal.

Snyder, just do a good job for us, but please STFU for a while and let us agonize in anticipation.

I love how Snyder said that we've yet to see a MANLY Superman. That wasn't really a diss to Welling, since Welling hasn't even been Superman yet technically. That would be more of a diss to the last guy who was Superman...LOL.

The wait better be worth it mister Snyder. I don't wanna be kept waiting in agony only to find out you're simply going to be rehashing General Zod again. We've seen Zod in the first 2 Superman films...we've seen him in Smallville. Difference between Zod and Lex is that Lex doesn't necessarily need to be the main villain. He is one of the few rogues who actually works best as a side-villain or secondary villain if you will. But Zod is so massive, I find it hard to imagine him as a side-villain. He is a main-villain type like Brainiac, Darkseid, Doomsday etc-

And from the sound of it, it seems like we might just be getting one villain in this film when Snyder said they hoped they picked "the right guy". It better be good.

We've also gotta read between the lines with Snyder...he always gives little hints away. He said he thinks they picked the right guy for what they're going for. Well what they're going for is a COMPLETE REBOOT...that is just what he's been saying in every interview to pretend as if the previous films never existed.

Zod is too big a memory for the Donner flicks. I doubt Snyder would bring him back.

If it's a reboot as he said, it'll be a villain we've never see on the big screen before.
