New Footage In "My Sons" And "Save The World" TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS TV Spots

These latest promos for Paramount's follow-up to the blockbusting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot contain quite a bit of new footage from the movie.

Fans will be pleased to see that the rivalry/friendship between Casey Jones and Raphael that's endured through most TMNT interpretations seems to have carried over to this sequel. There's also new shots of Shredder, dialogue from Splinter, and April O'Neil getting in on the action, too.

The Ninja Turtles come into conflict with T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady and an unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O'Neil and Vern Fenwick comes to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.

Starring Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Brian Tee, Will Arnett, Gary Anthony Williams, and WWE Superstar Sheamus, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows is set to be released on May 30.

@DarkArrow19 - I'm with you. I'd planned on seeing all the other, more mainstream, CBMs released this year in the theatre so this was bumped down to "Wait for the Bluray/DVD/rental" status.

2016 is stacked! And I really don't have the time or money to see even the Mains(Deadpool, BvS, CW, XA, SS, Dr. Strange), but I made it a goal to make that happen. Well, I broke down and saw Apocalypse outside of the theatre. Initially I justified it by promising myself I'd still make time to see it on the Big screen, but by the time the credits rolled I realized I can't pay to see that movie. It's not a bad movie necessarily, but there's just too many slaps/spit thrown at my face in it to justify spending money to see it on the Big screen.

That made me REALLY sad. Until I realized TMNT is coming out the same time. Now I can just pretend like "X-Men": "Apocalypse" never happened and make my late May CBM venture be this movie. All is well.

Plus, based on what we've been given so far, this might actually turn out to be a really fun movie that I can take Ohkwari to. I can't bring myself to taking him to see Apocalypse. He LOVES the X-Men comics I read him and he LOVES the cartoons we watch and he LOVES my old action figures from my childhood, but he hasn't shown any interest whatsoever in any of the Fox-Men films I've shown him. While I'm watching them, he will occasionally sit down next to me for a second or two if Wolverine or.... shit. Hugh Jackmans pretty much the only one he likes.... shows up on screen, but then he runs off to do his own thing.

Makes me really [frick]ing sad. Seriously. Why the [frick] do these directors have to try to take something that's already great and "Make it mine"? If you want to put your stamp on something, create your own brand new, never before seen, shit. Make films based on characters that YOU created.

Such a douchebag mentality. You're hired to recreate characters from an existing source, but you deny your actors any material that could help them actually understand the characters, that already have a huge fan base of people that grew up LOVING them, to help them better portray them, because.... what? The characters aren't good enough? You can do better? Yet you can't create your own characters.... I'm rambling. And I'm getting heated. So [frick]ing ridiculous and obnoxious to me. I really can not believe; because of one man's massive ego, my son is going to miss out on some of my fondest memories from my childhood. Ohkwari doesn't know this. I don't rage to him like I am here. I don't even slightly let him know how I feel about the "X-Men" movies. I don't put any sort of personal bias on him at all. I let him choose. On his own. When we sit down to watch a movie, he chooses Iron Man, or Thor, or Captain America, or The Avengers, or Spider-Man(any of them. Tobey or Garfield, doesn't matter.), or Deapool. And he gets excited about it. He sits next to me through the whole movie and afterwards I listen to everything he liked about it and it hits my Heart, hard, because he's telling me things that I remember from some of my fondest memories as a kid(I guess he's not really missing out though because he does the same thing with the comics). If I ask him if he wants to watch one of our X-Men movies he says no, unless it's a DVD of the '90s cartoon. Yet when I have him pick out a book to read before bed, it's ALWAYS X-Men, in one form or another. X-Men, X-Force, Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Excalibur. Doesn't matter. He prefers the Mutants when we're reading the comics, but he can't get into the movies. He LOVES Superman and Bat man comics too, but the movie? Nope. Walks away every time.

Anyways. Back to the point. Apologies for getting so off track. He Loves the original Turtles movies I grew up with, as well as the weird live action series they released, as well as all of the cartoons. He Loves the new movies too, so I think I'll take him to see Out of the Shadows, and ill honestly be surprised if I don't like it too.
