We're now very close to the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Paramount Pictures (via Toonado.com) has debuted one final trailer for the Seth Rogen-produced animated reboot to ensure hype is at maximum levels for the Fearsome Foursome's long-awaited return to the big screen.
This latest teaser features plenty of new Heroes in a Half-Shell action, as Leo, Mikey, Raph and Donnie join forces with Splinter and April O'Neil to take down Superfly and his army of evil(?) mutants.
Superfly - who has been confirmed as the son of Baxter Stockman - seemed like a pretty decent fella in the most recent clip, but something tells us his friendly demeanour was only a facade to get the Turtles on his side.
More social media reactions to Mutant Mayhem have also been shared online following the latest press screening, and the trailer includes some of the more glowing praise that's been heaped on the movie.
“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon will voice the roles of Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael, respectively. The cast also includes Jackie Chan as Splinter, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.
Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which is produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
