It seems Jesse Wigutow will come aboard the new adaptation of James O'Barr's cult classic The Crow..

Days after Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company buried the hatchet and dropped lawsuits on the remake of The Crow, Jesse Wigutow is making a deal to write the script. The original was distributed by the Weinsteins at Miramax back in 1994 and grossed $50.6M domestic.

Before the Fall helmer F. JAVIER GUTIERREZ set to direct THE CROW for RELATIVITY MEDIA
This project has seen some hard times and has had a few different actors and directors attached. Most prominently Bradley Cooper who was all set to get stuck into the role before things went South. Now that a draft is in the pipeline we might have some more news on it soon. Wigutow wrote the script for the 2006 TV movie

Irreparable Harm and is currently working on
The Osterman Weekend remake, as well as the Steve McQueen biopic,
Divorcees. Gutierrez has helmed Spanish end-of-days movie
Before The Fall and is currently at work on horror flick
