THE FLASH Featurette Reveals What Barry Allen's Costume Looks Like Minus The Special Effects

A new featurette for The Flash showcases behind-the-scenes footage from the DC Comics adaptation, including what Ezra Miller's costume looked like before all those, well, flashy special effects were added.

Superhero movie costumes rarely look as good on set as they do when we see them on the big screen. Throwing it way back to when Captain America: The First Avenger was shooting in 2010, you may recall some fans arguing that it looked like Chris Evans was decked out in a quilt!

Now, we have a new featurette for The Flash which shows Ezra Miller suited up on set. Without those red lines running through the Scarlet Speedster's costume, it certainly looks a little different and not quite as impressive as what we've seen in trailers and TV spots...which was to be expected!

The suit has actually been a sticking point among many fans for some time, especially as it's not how a lot of people imagined Barry would look on screen.

We'd say it looks pretty cool in motion, however, and the video even sheds some light on how the scenes with the hero running were shot. Interestingly, The Flash's suit appears to have a collar here, though we'd assume that was to make it easier for Miller to put on and remove the cowl.

Check out the featurette below.

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.

That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.

The Flash races into theaters on June 16.

Of Course, More Josh Wilding commentary.

The piece looks amazing, it is behind the scenes, AND IT IS HOW these movies are made.
They are offering you a mere glimple into the process, Yet all your monkey brain can do is to criticize.

It's so obvious this site is dying for this movie to fail.
It's pathetic. I thought this was a comic book movie fan site.
Guess not.
