We had heard that Warner Bros. was planning to return to the Super Bowl after a 17-year absence to debut the official trailer for The Flash, and Deadline has now confirmed that a first look at the Scarlet Speedster's solo outing is indeed on the agenda - along with several other major TV spots!

As well as The Flash, promos for Fast X and Transformers: Rise of The Beasts are expected. On the Disney/Marvel Studios front, we'll have new looks at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Little Mermaid and Pixar’s Elemental.

Though not 100% confirmed, the trade believes Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and The Marvels spots may also screen.

There's a lot of controversy surrounding The Flash, but we've heard that the movie went over very well in test screenings, and a recent trade report claimed that the Andy Muschietti-helmed superhero adventure was praised as being “Spider-Man: No Way Home good.”

That obviously remains to be seen, but James Gunn did hail the film as “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made" during the recent DCU slate Q&A.

Super Bowl LVII airs on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, and The Flash teaser will then reportedly screen in front of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania five days later on Feb. 17.

The Flash recently moved its release date up by one week, and is now set to race into theaters on June 16, 2023.
