X-MEN: THE LAST STAND's Kelsey Grammer Cast As Lead Villain In TRANSFORMERS 4

Deadline reports that Frasier and Boss star Kelsey Grammer has signed up to play the villain in Michael Bay's fourth Transformers movie. He joins an already impressive cast which includes Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci. According to the site, he will play 'Harold Attinger', a counter intelligence agent of some sort. The movie is set to begin shooting this summer and is set for release on June 27th, 2014. Does this casting news get you more excited for the film?

Hmmm, does seem they are taking it, in a perhaps, more serious direction.

Maybe we can get a solid action movie without terrible sexual innuendo, rascism, and dialogue that doesn't want to make you cry in pain.

However I will say that I think action wise it was perfect just e plot and bits in between we're pretty bad.

I saw the word X-MEN, got excited he was returning for Days of Future Past then read he was going to be in Transformers 4. What a letdown.

Pain and Gain was dark,twisted and funny as hell. Michael Bay was trying to be to cool in the Transformers films.Like the dad that tries to use the same lingo as his teen age kid to bond with him. The Rock really steals the film. Seriously,this is some of Dwayne Johnson's best acting to date.

awww, we need Kelsey back on the X-Men franchise.

Hopefully on the next movie, once the apocalyptic future is prevented.

Beast, Nightcrawler, Gambit and Cyclops back. then THAT would be the ultimate X-Men movie.

Though, it's not like this is the series' first high-caliber actor.

Francis Macdormand, John Malkovich (who did nothing for the actual plot, but was funny) and Jon Voight..

Frasier'll be a welcome addition.

it would be nice to have a tranformers film that does not revolve around stupid humans as the main characters. They should just be like "OH NO EARTH IS IN TROUBLE!, AUTOBOTS ROLL OUT AND [frick] SHIT UP!" the only humans I want to see all the ones running away from all the explosions !
