With Team Arrow falling apart, tonight's episode saw Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) experience a series of Vertigo-induced hallucinations, which resulted in a shocking - but very welcome - cameo from none other than Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra), a.k.a. Prometheus. While we surely saw him torment his former adversary, we also saw him give Oliver some much-needed perspective and by the end of the hour, he had decided to disband Team Arrow permanently.

Next week, the focus shifts to Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), who are both making moves to take control of the Star City underworld. Meanwhile, Oliver and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) find themselves at the wrong end of a bomb blast.

Watch the new promo for episode nineteen, titled "The Dragon," below:

"The Dragon" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DIAZ SETS HIS SIGHTS ON THE QUADRANT - Looking to expand his empire, Diaz (guest star Kirk Acevedo) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) meet with The Quadrant, a coalition of mafia families who run national organized crime. Meanwhile, after Oliver's (Stephen Amell) recent decision, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) double their efforts on building Helix Dynamics. Gordon Verheul directed the episode written by Spiro Skentzos & Elizabeth Kim (#619). Original airdate 4/19/2018.

Arrow have been so much better now that the newbies haven’t gotten much airtime! Last two episodes felt like they are getting back on track

@whynot - Agreed, not having the petty drama with Team Dumbass is much better.

They are beating around too much with having Oliver and Diaz fighting, the way they are handling his takeover in the city isn't impressive.

Only Josh Segarra's cameo Vertigo-induced cameo made this episode, he is still the best recent villain in the show. Much better than how they've chosen to do Diaz. The parts with Oliver under the effects of Vertigo were also good.

Just wished they didn't tease a fight so much only to have it be stopped by Felicity's "glue" speech. In the past Oliver would pull through by himself when he was under Vertigo when he went after the Count but now thanks to Guggenheim's obsession with always delivering Olicity the way Oliver snapped out in the end was flat.

Lance becoming mayor was btw a good and a surprise development and a way to keep him in the show. It is a new place for him. But I am also let down that Oliver was impeached. I thought the writers and showrunners would let him keep it or fight more for it, since he was the mayor far longer in the comics, I think he even ran twice. I had some ideas of what he could've done as mayor during his period in future Seasons but considering they are literally taking him back to his "basics" without a team and back to killing (it is getting difficult to see if they are purposefully undoing his development from S5) and no other form of social life, as mayor, then I guess I'll just resign myself to see him back fully as a vigilante hero.

As long as they treat Lance's administration a lot better.

Next episode looks like a full set up and transitional. Diaz still has to do something more intimate, so to speak, in his "tearing Oliver down bits by bits" plan in order to leave a better impression.

I just want to take a moment to celebrate the surprise return of the greatest Arrow, and my favorite Arrowverse villain. What an awesome surprise.
