There have been a lot of questions surrounding the milestone 100th episode of Arrow and it looks like we may finally have a few answers.

According to the new synopsis for episode eight, Oliver will find himself in an alternate reality where he never boarded the ill-fated Queen's Gambit, meaning both of his parents are alive-and-well and he's about to walk down the aisle with his true lady love Laurel Lance.

Now, it's probably safe to say Oliver will undoubtedly come under the influence of the Dominators at some point during the closing moments of Tuesday night's episode of The Flash, which will lead straight into this dream world of sorts. It also likely suggests the Deathstroke we've seen in the trailers could be a figment of Oliver's imagination and not the real Slade Wilson. The rest of the episode will continue the non-stop action as Barry & Kara assist Felicity with a new threat.

Check out the synopsis below:

ARROW CELEBRATES 100 EPISODES; THE EPIC SUPERHERO CROSSOVER CONTINUES — Oliver (Stephen Amell) wakes up to a life where he never got on The Queen’s Gambit. Robert (guest star Jamey Sheridan) and Moira Queen (guest star Susanna Thompson) are alive and well. Laurel (guest star Katie Cassidy) is his loving fiancée and their wedding is imminent. Everything seems perfect, but Oliver starts to notice small imperfections that make him question this new reality. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and the recruits take on a new threat with help from The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist). James Bamford directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti and written by Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle (#508). Original airdate 11/30/2016.

Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
David Ramsey as John Diggle/Spartan
Willa Holland as Thea Queen/Speedy

Interesting concept for this ep. But I'm guessing this'll be the make or break part of the big crossover. If this episode sucks, I worry the whole thing will fall apart.

so Oliver's perfect life includes him getting married to Laurel. Hopefully this means they will eventually get back together when she comes back

Wasn't this an Allen Moore Superman comic? Isn't this the one with the weird things that latch onto you and show you your dream world?

Can't wait for this great to hear that Arrow season 4 is a great show again. I'm excited to check that out at some point. And cool to see the Lexmas Clip from Smallville that was a great episode and one of the shows best ones. if Arrow's alternate reality is like that episode that will be great to watch
