Based upon characters published by DC Entertainment and produced by Warner Bros. Television, GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. Starring Ben McKenzie ("Southland," "The O.C."), Donal Logue ("Sons of Anarchy," "Terriers," "Vikings," "Copper") and Jada Pinkett Smith ("The Matrix" films, "HawthoRNe"), GOTHAM follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time. Executive producer Bruno Heller ("The Mentalist") wrote the pilot, which was directed and executive-produced by Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon (the "CSI" franchise, "Nikita"). John Stephens will serve as an executive producer on the series.

I guess the point of them being outside in the rain, is so Penguin could have his Umbrella, while everyone else is drenched....

Some pretty terrible dialogue. Really hope the rest of this show is better than this

Jada Pinkett is good. This is a good scene overall. Penguin a little cliche with the Marty McFly "DON'T CALL ME THAT", but I'd definitely tune in.

Pretty funny. Would've been funnier if we actually walked in on them watching a scary movie.

How you haven't got any credit for this comment yet is disheartening.

That was awful. MacKenzie is more than a little rigid. And of course, JadaFish can't deliver two lines without making me feel nauseated.

Ok...I've been very excited for this show but after this.....I don't know. That dialogue is flat out TERRIBLE! Terrible! I'm happy we are getting all these DC tv shows but between this and CW.....I just want my BvS DoJ to come out already. I mean the Arkham games don't even talk like they performing in a stage play.
