Makenzie Leigh Joins GOTHAM As 'Liza'; Plus New Poster
There's hardly any details on this one, but in a report on the young The Good Wife actresses' batch of upcoming tv roles, Deadline reveal that Makenzie Leigh has joined the cast of Fox's Batman prequel series as a character named Liza..
According to Deadline, young Makenzie Leigh is gearing up to have a busy time of it. The actress has booked roles in not only NBC's miniseries The Slap and Amazon series Mozart In The Jungle, but is also set to appear in Fox's Gotham as Liza, a "wild child". That's literally all the information the site has to offer for now -- but could Leigh be playing an established Batman character? Well, I don't know of anyone by that name in the Dark Knight's history, but there is a Liza Warner who spun out of DC's Earth-One. She was a police officer who sometimes assisted The Atom, but it's unlikely this wil be a variation of that character. Anyway, Leigh is expected to debut in next week's instalment, Arkham. Here's a cool new poster which puts the focus on Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith)
