Epix has revealed the first official teaser promo for Pennyworth, giving us a brief look at Jack Bannon (Ripper, The Imitation Game, Endeavor) introducing himself to, presumably, Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge).

The teaser also provides quick glimpses of some of the show's supporting players, including Emma Paetz as Martha Wayne, and Paloma Faith as a mysterious villain named Bet Sykes.

We still don't know a whole lot about this R-rated origin story, but it has been confirmed that Alfred will team-up with Thomas Wayne to form a security company in 1960s London. No established Batman baddies will appear, but the show is expected to feature "archetypal villains and classic villains of British literature."
