@Nightwing27 - nice try, second place man.

But in topic, I completely agree. With each new cast announcement I'm slowly getting more and more hyped for this. But so was I got Titans until that first trailer dropped, and unfortunately I'm one of those who hasn't been sucking on Titans dick since its debut. I really wanna be though, I just dont like the taste. Tastes like Titans hasn't showered in a month and just jerked itself off before I arrived.

@Nightwing27 - You mean Wesley Dodds? And I hope you are not speaking about the wannabe Hulk when you say Damage.

So you're telling me we've gotten a live action Tigress... Twice? But we still can't get a live action Question.

@KWilly -
The Question is going to be in Birds of Prey, which is probably why she's off-limits to the CW.

@Darkknight2149 - Stargirl isnt CW. But I get your point and agree in regards to the movie.

No, they've tried to use The Question in Arrow, but DC turned them down. I don't think the character was ever planned for Stargirl.

@Darkknight2149 - ah I see. Left that part about Arrow out but I get you now. That's got to be the most frustrating thing to me about WB and DC, even worse than how they take astounding creative liberties in their character adaptations, is how they refuse to let DC TV use characters that appear on TV (with the Flash being the exception and to a smaller degree Supermans cameos). Such a needless restriction. I understand their thinking though I completely disagree with it.

True, but I honestly wish they never got the rights to Superman either. All they have done with him is shit on his character to make Supergirl look good. In the Elseworlds, Superman even flat out told her "I'm useless because the world has Supergirl!"

That's the biggest reason I no longer want Batman to ever be on the CW. They would just use him as a crutch to make Batwoman and Green Arrow look better.

@Darkknight2149 - but you realize they reason they are doing that is because they couldn't use Superman in the first place. If they had access to Superman and Batman, Arrow and Supergirl never would have been made. They have had to use them to bolster the validity of the characters they do have WBs permission to use, which is a double edge sword because while it does give credibility to the prowess of those other heroes, it also pushes of the fans of the bigger heroes they are undermining. But this issue would be a non issue if the CW had an open toybox of DC Characters. They are dooming the Arrowverse to muddled continuity and questionable world building in the same way that Fox had to adapt to not being able to use all of Marvel's characters and the MCU has to dance around not using the Xmen and Fantastic 4... but WB has the rights to all their characters and are limiting themself anyway. Its beyond retarded.

But they did get the rights to use Superman, and it was only then that they started treating him as a jobber for Supergirl... And they're lucky to even be using him! The way they used him was simply disrespectful and lazy. If this is the way they treat Superman when they get to use him on special occasions like crossovers (by having Superman get the shit beat out of him by Supergirl, and later telling her that he's useless), then why should they get to use Batman? And frankly, it feels more like them trying to push their feminist agenda with Supergirl than anything else.

That being said, I definitely agree with you that it is dumb that they keep having to cancel characters and storylines just because DC suddenly wants to keep them to themselves (Suicide Squad in Arrow Season 3, Deathstroke in Arrow Season 6, Ted Kord, The Question, ETC). In general, it's a dumb concept for DC to withhold characters that hinders the CW creatively. That being said, I used to want Batman on the CW... But they lost my trust on that with Superman.

@Darkknight2149 - I feel you but my point is they only use Superman like that because they can only use him in an extremely limited capacity. They dont have FULL access to him like they do with Supergirl and that's WBs fault. If they gave the CW FULL access to Superman he would have his own show and they wouldn't be undermining his legacy like they are now. The ONLY reason they are undermining him to build up Supergirl is because they have full access to her and shes the star they have to use. If WB let them have Superman 100% instead of just guest spots and cameos, they would build him up to be equal and or greater than Kara. So my point is its mostly WBs fault not so much CW.

BUT, also there is presidence in the comics and other media that Kara is stronger than Kal, so they aren't necessarily wrong in emphasizing that on the show.

But they are wrong in having Superman bow to Supergirl after the fight and say "Wow, YOU are Earth's true defender!"... And then, in a later crossover, tell her that he's completely useless because she exist. I don't even think it has anything to do with the limited appearances, so much as Supergirl's consistently cringey attempts to cater to extreme feminists (that show is really bad at political messages, but keeps at it anyway).

While I get that they can only use Superman in major appearances like crossovers and finales, this definitely was not the way to handle it, nor was it necessary. They should have made the best of his appearances and made it feel like an event whenever Superman appears (kind of like how they do with their crossovers). Like, "You'll definitely want to tune in to this episode because Supergirl is teaming up with SUPERMAN!"

Plus, they can build him up as a legendary character for Kara to look up to (even as an equal) without him actually appearing. Instead, they took the Frank Miller approach by shitting on him to make their star character look better.

LOL, these DC Universe shows are stepping all over the network TV shows. Konstantine Kovar appearing in Titans, Deathstroke announced for Season 2 of Titans, getting Batman before Gotham and the CW shows, and now Tigress (a major Gotham character) is appearing in Stargirl.

She's confirmed to be Tigress. And she's been called various tiger nicknames like "Tiger lady" and "Tabby".
