Caitlin's Inner Killer Frost Is Unleashed In New Featurette And Clip From Tonight's THE FLASH

In tonight's Kevin Smith helmed episode of The Flash, Caitlin Snow will finally become Killer Frost. In this clip and featurette, she loses control, and that may be very bad news for CSI Julian Dorn...

The Flash has been teasing us with the possibility that Caitlin Snow will become Killer Frost ever since the season began, but it all happens in tonight's episode on The CW! Kevin Smith returns to the series to direct, and that alone points to this being a significant chapter before the four night crossover takes place next week. In fact, that's something the clip and featurette you see below make very clear.

Whether or not Caitlin's villainous transformation will be permanent remains to be seen, but things aren't looking good for Julian or Barry (who she blames for what's happening to her after learning about him changing reality via Flashpoint). Do you think she should leave Team Flash to become a full on baddie? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that and more in the usual place.

KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS; KILLER FROST EMERGES — Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart talk. Kevin Smith directed the episode with story by Judalina Neira and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Brooke Roberts.

"...have a heart to heart talk."

The reason I don't watch Flash anymore, the cringe factor is too damn high during those scenes.

@dubjon - And yet you're on a topic relating to Flash.

It annoys me more than anything that she thinks because she had powers and was evil on the other Earth, that she will be evil now.

@PrincessLeather - Did you watch Supergirl last night? Really ground my gears that Jonn was so hateful towards the woman that saved his life just because she turned out to be a White Martian. I'll admit to not knowing a lot about the character but everything I've seen from Martian Manhunter in the comics and cartoons has him as a lot more logical.

It's lazy writing that just because she has powers now, she's automatically a villain. She should have been a bad guy from the start.

@Space - Well so far that's the story with all the villains this season. At least they're consistent lol

@MarvelDCAllDay - haha yeah

@Space - Or at least tease her darker side in earlier episodes. Like having her have an outburst. Or interacting with people that aren't team Flash and being not so nice. Little glimpses. But no... lazy writing indeed.

Wait so her ICY POWERS make her gain an EVIL, ICY DEMEANOR now... Is that why she's evil? Is she evil now because she gets powers in general or is it because her powers are "icy" (cringe)?

It's all so rushed anyway. Flash this season this has taken a real step backwards, especially with Caitlin's arc.

@ComicsBornAndBred - they should never make her one of the good guys her character was wrong from the start since season 1 till the beginning of season 3 her character didn't show one little bit of villany she's just as good hearted as barry allen then all of the sudden her gaining powers turns her into a villain because....reasons

@auditore - yea maybe she should've been bad from the start. But you knwo how the CW likes their friend gone bad arc

@ComicsBornAndBred - yeah but at least do some build up show how she reacts to some situations on season 1 and 2 show her making some bad decisions and not feeling so guilty like killing one of the metahumans but they cant make killer frost a common villain she could become a anti hero or a villain who doesnt care about robbing banks and things like that

@ComicsBornAndBred - Besides Caitlin's story, I feel like season 3 is superior to season 2. Season 2 was basically a repeat of season 1. With this new season, there is a different tone, better pacing, and some actual mystery behind who the real villains are.

@Marxman12 - the problem with season 3 is quite a few things feel rushed so far and lack real legitimacy or explanation. Tonight's episode so far, is a prime example of that.

S3 is a repeat of some things too.

@ComicsBornAndBred - She's pissed because Barry changed the timeline. Causing the death of her fiancé, Sysco's brother, new villains, her powers, etc. Her powers have amplified those feelings.

I guess her becoming evil is kind of rushed. But you gotta admit, she has every right to be mad at Barry for screwing up the timeline. I know I am.
