After a fairly Caitlin-centric (Danielle Panabaker) episode, next week's installment will see Team Flash take on a new iteration of the Rogues that features Brie Larvan (Emily Kinney), Joss Jackam (Reina Hardesty), and Peter Merkel (Troy James) and it looks like they'll be led by Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy)?!

Details remain scarce, but those glowing red eyes can't mean anything good for Barry (Grant Gustin) or Iris (Candice Patton) and the rest of Team Flash.

"Gone Rogue" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

WEATHER WITCH, QUEEN BEE AND RAG DOLL RETURN TO CENTRAL CITY - Barry (Grant Gustin) continues to struggle with how he feels about Nora's (Jessica Parker Kennedy) betrayal. Brie Larvan (guest star Emily Kinney), Joss Jackam (guest star Reina Hardesty) and Peter Merkel (guest star Troy James) return to Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) makes a bold decision. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Joshua V. Gilbert (#520). Original airdate 4/30/2019.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe

Nora is the worst character in the Arrowverse.

and Oliver and Barry are the two dumbest people there are, how many times do they make selfish dec and not involve anyone else and manage to screw things up.

Seems like Barry does it every other episode.

Really average episode, it was just okay. So, let's break it down from the beginning.

Really good acting from Grant Gustin in the argument between Barry and Iris. I'll be honest, the beginning of this argument, there were good points from both sides. Iris bringing up Flashpoint (going into the speedforce is not a valid argument, and it makes Iris seem like a selfish prick. Barry sacrificed his life to save the city, and almost two years later she's still bitching about him leaving her alone. Shut up), talking about not being able to say goodbye. Barry had good points too about trust issues with Nora, etc. But as soon as the topic of Thawne was brought up... I mean, DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. Iris telling Barry to his face that Nora working with Thawne didn't bother her was HARSH. That was ICE COLD. (Really have no idea why Barry stays with Iris, she's a real bitch to him at times. Iris, with her patronizing "We Are the Flash and I am never wrong but you are" attitude. And what type of person is Iris to essentially say "well, there was a reason for the lies so its excusable, no matter what the excuse is." SMFH) Anyways, from that point on, Barry was completely correct and he won the argument; and I was very happy to hear him tell Iris to look in a mirror about letting one's emotions get the best of them. This reminded me of Ralph putting Iris in her place last season.

Really hate t hat everyone keeps treating Sherloque like shit because he revealed what no one else wanted to, or was capable of seeing. Don't shoot the messenger... Sherloque has more than once earned his place on that team, and he has never been shown the level or appreciation or gratitude that he really deserves, instead he gets chastised again and again.

"I want Nora to stay here, he doesn't." God freaking dammit Iris, are you wearing a magnetic coil around your head? You do realize that her very existence in the present disturbs the fabric of spacetime, right? And Nora was never going to be a permanent fixture in the present anyway. Remember what you said about not letting one's emotions cloud your judgement...

Can someone explain Thawne's prison timer? It seems like he has had minutes left to live for EPISODES.

Why does Barry always have to ask everyone else what he should do in a problem scenario??? Makes him look a bit incompetent.

The entire Caitlin-Icicle storyline was stupid; no beating around the bush here, it was freaking stupid. Didn't even care for the stupid ice slide fight, it was just a CGI mess (and not a good one) and it was hard to tell what was really going on. This storyline only became interesting and good when Cicada 2.0 showed up and made quick work of Barry and Killer Frost.

Thawne was quite good this episode, really liked him and great to have the negative speed force introduced!

And finally, Nora... Well, this episode only further cements why Nora is by far the worst main character currently in the Arrowverse. So thanks episode!! You've given us more reasons to despise her.

How bad is this episode? I decided to quit watching legends yesterday, kinda considering Flash too. It baffles me that grown ass adults make low quality television like this.

@RageDriver2401 - this episode is not good, its okay at best. And its without a doubt worse than the legends episode.

As you said, it baffles me how adults make low quality television like this.

Uggh, next week's episode looks terrible. The return of whatever the hell that bee villain is called; she's one of the worst villains ever in the history of the Arrowverse. She single-handedly ruined both episodes of Flash and Arrow that she was in. And angsty brattish immature Nora setting up a gang of villains, definitely what we all need.

The only odd part I found in the episode was that the metahuman cuffs that Icicle put on Caitlin were dampening her powers when they aren't per see from the dark matter from the particle accelerator. Then again Thomas/Icicle gave it to her so if anyone knew how to dampen them is (or was, RIP) him.

Besides that the episode turned out nicely and tied up all the plots without feeling like a disjointed episode like some have before.

Grant Gustin and Candice Patton easily delivered one of the best scenes in the Season at the beginning, both Barry and Iris gave solid jabs at each other. Barry only took into account how he felt while Iris was slowly also letting her emotions get the best of her, funny how it's no different than when it happens to Barry but it happens more, way for it, faster. :P

Cicada II kidnapping her own past present self was unexpected but can't say I didn't theorize it before so I liked that reveal early in the episode. Makes me wish she had not killed Orlin too soon, the dynamic in that cabin with both present Orlin and Grace with an evil future self would be a lot of fun to see.

If my numbers aren't wrong this is like the 4th time Cisco has skipped an episode. (5X04, 5X11, 5X13 and now here) It's fair since Ralph has also skipped his own share.

I liked how they used Cecile here to monitor Iris.

I think Iris was able to use Gideon through the device that Sherloque used in 5x17 to gather his final piece of evidence. Now all the WestAllen family has properly used the AI in the show.

Thought that Ralph was using the Speed Force bazooka but later realized he used Cisco's cannon from S4 premiere to open up a portal. And the way he got inside the time sphere was hilarious, fitting of his powers.

"Shrap" is really a thing everyone says in the future. I lol'ed how Ralph threw the warden into that cell, dude bounced off like a pillow. XD

Nora entering the Negative Force was another highlight of the episode with the slow motion and those flashbacks to all the bad things that have happened to her. Even her running scene looked better than most.

Thawne was seriously taken back at that. Things have officially gone literally beyond his control.

I wonder if something will come off later from that long stare down between Ralph and Thawne.

Barry and Joe's reactions to Caitlin and her mother arguing? Relatable.

Overall the tragedy that happened at the end with Thomas and the "Snow Pack" subplot was meant to prop up Barry's drive to right the wrongs he did to Nora in what remains of the Season, otherwise and without this example the point wouldn't hit home. BAnd seeing how Sherloque chose to stay and Ralph acknowledging his loyalty puts a spin on Thawne's words about Nora needing her family: it'll take all of of them to bring her back because she feels alone and isolated, hence why she gained access to the Negative Force.

Barry charging up and phasing looked like when he almost killed Orlin episodes ago.

Once again Grace took no prisoners. Caitlin likely wants now a piece of her. And that sample from her mother turning white in the end...I bet it'll be saved for S6.

Nora looked badass in the end. Negative Force could be another seed for the next Season.

Cry-atomizer can affect particles in the air and the synopsis for 5x21 says Cicada II plans to release a metahuman virus. This is how her endgame starts to take shape.

And that ice bridge battle sequence was awesome. Been a long while since S3 when Flash fought Killer Frost with it and since Crisis on Earth-X finale. It makes KF worth the screen time.

However I doubt Nora will be able to held back if she goes for a killing blow on Barry like Thomas did with his daughter.
