This is a great example of not judging a book by its cover. As it turns out this show is outstanding.

@Reverend - It's very good, I wouldn't go as far as outstanding but it certainly has the potential to be.

@RorMachine - In recent years, I've tried to approach these shows and movies as dramatic cinema first and comic book adaptations second. Reason being, if I did the opposite it would be frustrating as it is nearly impossible to have a direct adaptation and as a fanboy I would be in perpetual frustration. It's a tactic which I feel keeps my mind open and surprisingly enough, I find I enjoy a wider range of these shows than I would otherwise.

@Reverend - “In recent years, I've tried to approach these shows and movies as dramatic cinema first and comic book adaptations second.”

That’s exactly the lens I view ALL adaptations with, and it’s why I get so frustrated with this site’s userbase. A majority of them see comic accuracy as the most importat thing an adaptation should strive for, as opposed to accuracy only when it benefits the narrative’s tone/thematic intention/etc.

Great! Makes me wonder if we'll get "A Death in the Family" in some form or another.

@comicfan100 - They should just go all out. The cinematic universe is taking forever to make a Batman movie. Just because it's a tv show doesn't mean they can't have Batman and Superman. Supergirl proved that

Titans is easily the best DC show currently, the action, characters and music are all great, although not too sure about how punkish this Jason looks

@Vulture -
I had look it up, but I didn't know WB owns the rights to AC/DC's Thunderstruck. I'm fairly certain they own the rights to nearly all the music on this show.

Jason's hair makes him look DCAU Tim Drake who was basically Jason Todd back story wise.

The Doom Patrol episode was such a treat lol, it's nice to see how literally everyone hated on this show before it came out and now that it has a generally positive attitude towards it, the haters have all but vanished.
