THE X-FILES: Gillian Anderson & David Duchovny Reunite For EW's Latest Cover

There's rumors of another X-Files movie heading our way, and now as part of EW's "reunion issue", the mag has brought Mulder and Scully back together for one of their covers.

The last X-Files movie was...well lets just say it wasn't what fans were expecting! But recently there has been a lot of chatter about a third big screen outing for the most famous UFO hunters in history, as well as talk of a possible resurgence on tv also -- and with the new IDW comic series doing so well, the time seems right. Still, we haven't heard anything official on any of that so we'll have to make do with Entertainment Weekly bringing David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) back together for one of their reunion issue covers.

“Gillian and I got [to the audition] about the same time, and we ended up running lines in the hallway,” recalls Duchovny. “We had developed a comfort level with each other when we did the audition. Over time, we grew into ourselves as actors, and refined what those characters meant to each other.”
