The movie looks freakin' awesome. Regardless of what anyone says, this is my opinion. It's going to be freakin' sweet.

Although, I somehow missed the part about The Comedian killing Kennedy. Hmmm, oh well. Still, going to be a freakin' thrill ride.

Oh yea, the squid teaser pic is an awesome bit of irony. I love it. Hahahaha to all those who are just flabergasted that there's no squid.

was the comedian killing kennedy thing in the comic? i know it was never directly mentioned, but was it implied or hinted at somewhere? i know doctor manhattan talks about the assassination but i don't remember the thing with the comedian.

i think the Comedian killing Kennedy is implied in the book but i think its cool they put it in the movie. We also see Nite Owl 1 meet his maker..hate that part in the comic:(

.......... from what I see, Nixon seems to be a really important character, in the comic he just appeared every now and then, the whole focus was on costumed heroes not the president of the united states... "I decide when doomsday is approaching"... that's just bullshit. Even if he is just in that scene, it's giving too much importance to the character.

Damn, damn, damn, I loved how Nixon was completely powerless, sort of a chess piece on a huge board. The few times he appeared his body language was that of a powerless man, his whole character as I saw him was of a man who just couldn't believe what was happening and was waiting for someone else to take charge.

Lol Castro at Moscow in winter just wearing his Cuban uniform, Cuba is hot as hell.. he'd be freezing his cuban ass of even with the heaviest jacket and thermal underwear. Oh yeah, the knot tops look cheesy as hell too.

I suppose we'll also be getting a scene where Blake confesses to killing Woodward and Burnstein.

Hehe, the scenes with Nixon and the Doomsday clock just remind me of Dr Strangelove- "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the war room."

It doesn't show it. It implies it. Like the Zapruder film implies there was someone on the "grassy nole" or behind the fence. It's implied.

I think Japanese releases are always a few weeks later than USA -release dates, because japaneses audiences prefer to watch the movies without subtitles. The same thing happens in Spain.

Seems like the Japanese trailer is tailored to people who are.. how do I say this.. smarter people than americans? So if you were Dr. Manhattan and you weren't like a feelingless sociopath yet so like early Dr. Manhattan would you make female versions of yourself and have bi-autoerotic perv sessions? (I would gangbang at my place lol, I'm all invited!)

I know someone that read the comic very closely and he said that The Comedian implied that he was "in Dallas" when JFK got shot in Dallas and that The Comedian also implied that also he was involved in Watergate. I gues that there actually making him do those things in the movie.
