All good things must come to an end, and next week, Watchmen brings its phenomenal first season to a close with a finale that promises some major twists and turns as Angela Abar (Regina King) races against the clock to stop Senator Keene (James Wolk) and the Seventh Kavalry from killing Doctor Manhattan (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and taking his God-level power for themselves.

While it remains to be seen if HBO will decide to continue this series past this year, the premium cable network does label next week's hour as the "season finale," so we do know that they are keeping the door open for show creator Damon Lindelof if he wants to keep telling stories in this world.

Debuts date: SUNDAY, DEC. 15 (9:00–10:00 p.m.)

Everything ends. For real this time.

Written by Nick Cuse & Damon Lindelof; directed by Frederick E.O. Toye.

If there is a second season, Adrian Veidt has to return to Planet Earth to give a press conference. Also, I'd like to see Bill Pullman playing old Dan Dreiberg

This show is amazing but did anyone else find his look a tad off-putting? Like they put a bald cap on him and made his head sort of look like handsome Squidward when they could have just shaved it?

This is the moment.

Watchmaker is my favorite chapter of the comic and i kinda experienced that today.
I saw a picture that wasn't meant to be seen by me, not at that time.

In other words, i got spoiled the f*ck outta this episode! :P

I'm talking about a blue-ass painted Yahya Abdul, i mean like...c'mon man, that shit sucks.
Not to mention his voice, how he was behaving etc...
I saw the promo...

And yep, i was basically hate-watching the episode, already thinking "This is mistake, this shit sucks and will make lil sense".

I was wrong.

Unlike most of you, i...wasn't sold on this tv series.
Like, ok, i CAN recognize that it's a DOPE tv show, but when it comes to Watchmen? Well, shit gets serious.

But this? This WAS the moment.
The moment i said "Ok, fine, you win, i'm sold!" :)

It's impossible to please everyone, i still don't like certain creative choices, but we'll see...It all depends on the finale now.

Man, I can't wait to see how they finish off the season...Manhattan and Sister Knight's relationship will end in tragedy, will she be the one that dies though? I really hope Looking Glass survives, will Keen become another Manhattan (evil version)? How do Trieu and Ozymandias fit into this? Probably the best show of the year next to Chernobyl.
