I Am Groot is expected to arrive on Disney+ sometime this year, but Marvel Studios has yet to announce premiere dates for that or She-Hulk. It's a little frustrating not to have that sort of clarity, but some new promo art from the Guardians of the Galaxy spinoff is more than enough to tide us over.
As you can see, it appears Baby Groot will be rocking a full head of "hair" in the series, though we're guessing this will probably be for just the one episode rather than the entire show. Either way, he now looks cuter than ever before, and changing up his appearance is a clever way to sell more toys!
Ryan Little serves as Head Writer on I Am Groot, with Kirsten Lepore set to direct.
The belief is that it will feature photorealistic animation, picking up with Baby Groot's misadventures either before or shortly after the events of 2017's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
A July debut has previously been rumoured for the show, so we'll hopefully get a first look soon. Either way, between this, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and next May's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it's going to be a good year for fans of these cosmic superheroes.
