LOKI Fans Believe They've Uncovered A Miss Minutes Easter Egg In ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

The season 2 finale of Loki has left fans with a lot of thoughts and theories about the MCU's future, but some eagle-eyed viewers believe they've uncovered a nod to Miss Minutes in the Ant-Man threequel...

The first season of Loki introduced us to the Time Variance Authority's mascot, Miss Minutes. There was something that felt a little sinister about the character, but it wasn't until the finale we learned she was secretly loyal to He Who Remains.

Season 2 has confirmed that he created her as an A.I. to play chess with, only for his creation to gain sentience and later serve as his eyes and ears within the TVA. Miss Minutes also fell in love with her master, something which played out in a supremely creepy conversation between her and Victor Timely.

After being taken offline, she was rebooted by OB in the TVA and now looks set to take on a heroic role within the organisation...for the time being, at least.

Now, one eagle-eyed fan has pointed out that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania appears to feature a nod to Miss Minutes when Kang the Conqueror creates a shield around his Time Chair. This may be just a visual nod to the character or a suggestion he has his own Miss Minutes-like A.I.

Either way, we don't expect it to be particularly important moving forward.

While we may well see Kang's Variants making use of similar A.I. systems (potentially serving him the same way J.A.R.V.I.S. helped Iron Man), "Miss Minutes" was created specifically for the TVA. There are, of course, those who believe Kang the Conqueror and He Who Remains are one and the same which, technically, given the complicated nature of time travel and the Multiverse, may be the case.

However, He Who Remains is no more after the Loki season 2 finale, and Miss Minutes...well, if she doesn't cross paths with Deadpool next summer, what a missed opportunity that will be!

"Despite being an example of why a movie shouldn’t be shot almost entirely in The Volume," we explained in our review of the movie, "every time Jonathan Majors steps on screen as Kang, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is an epic tale to astonish and a monumental chapter in the Multiverse Saga."

Do you think Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania included a sneaky reference to Miss Minutes?

This shot of Kang in Quantumania looks a lot like Miss Minutes.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is now available wherever you watch movies.

Looks more like a creepy smiley face. Maybe it's a nod to the Comedian instead?

@marvel72 - Funny how much time you like to spend on articles about shit you don't like just to blurt out that you didn't / aren't watching the film you don't want to watch.

The amount of whining some of y'all do is embarassing. But I guess it's no wonder why you have so much time to spend complaining on the internet. I can't imagine any employer wanting to work with someone that has such a shitty attitude all the time.

@Tonic24k - So you are in charge of what articles people can visit and leave comments on? I'm at work now but I run the shift, so I have time to text, when need be.

@marvel72 - What I'm doing is simply pointing out that you complain too much. Try looking at things on the bright side for once. JFC...

There is a guy on YouTube that spots the most obvious yet basic observations in mcu movies...

Is this from the same guy?

Remember when MODOK was defeated by Cassid Lang, and Kang the Conquerer by Antman and Wasp in a fist fight?

MCU main weakness since Phase 1 has always been their one and done bad guys. So what do they do? They go one and done twice in one movie; perfect example of how they love to double down on their criticisms instead of listening to their “ pathetic women hating” fans :)

@Matchesz - I do agree killing their villains too soon is a problem. But I don't think they're intentionally doubling down on that issue. I think Kang is just deceptive and he'll pull something just like how He Who Remains just did.

@Matchesz - One and done villains predates the MCU and I’ve always thought it’s often a mistake. For example, Jack Nicholson’s Joker, Danny DeVito’s Penguin, William, Defoe’s, Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s Dr. Octopus, and Liam Neeson’s Ras’ Al Ghul to name just a few.
