We got our first look at Moon Knight earlier this month, and as we get closer to the show's release, even more promo art is beginning to surface. This latest batch comes courtesy of t-shirts that are slowly finding their way into stores, and, as you can see below, Marc Spector is front and centre.
Aside from heavily featuring Egyptian imagery, this artwork don't necessarily reveal any new story details. However, we do get another look at the unhinged vigilante's mystical costume as he strikes an iconic pose fans of the comic books will definitely appreciate.
It's interesting to see Spector get a "living" costume that wraps itself around him, but it arguably makes sense in this case. After all, Marvel Studios is clearly embracing Moon Knight's history as a monster hunter rather than a Batman-like superhero prowling New York City. There's nothing to say that won't eventually be tackled, but this feels like a better direction to head in as we explore the MCU's supernatural side.
The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes (there's no mention of George Clooney). Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers.
Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.
