MS. MARVEL: Spoiler Stills From Last Week's Episode Reveal A Closer Look At The Show's Sinister Villains

Ms. Marvel's third episode definitely wasn't quite as strong as those first two instalments, but it finally moved the story forward and revealed the show's lead villains.

While Kamala Khan still needs to watch out for the Department of Damage Control, the mysterious ClanDestines are gunning for that bangle on the teenager's wrist so they can return to their home, the Noor Dimension. However, opening a doorway to that realm could have disastrous consequences for Earth, hence why Ms. Marvel now has to stop them.

In this gallery of stills, we see more of Kamala's battle with the villains as she's forced to go on the run at her brother's wedding. If we're being honest, this group does currently look a little generic (we're getting some Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. vibes), but there's a good chance that could change as this series progresses.

The ClanDestine do exist in the comic books, and similar to the MCU, they were a group of superpowered individuals who descended from the Djinn. This show's take on the group is a little different as they are Djinn, while Marvel Studios continues to throw alternate dimensions into the mix as they did in Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings

As Kamala is descended from a Djinn, the bangle activates the "Noor" power inside of her. We've yet to discover how this ties into The Marvels or whether it could lead to the Inhumans appearing. However, as the wrist the ClanDestine removed that bangle from was blue, we can't help but think there's a link to the Kree and Marvel Studios is reinventing the Inhuman mythos.
