There's a lot of chatter surrounding Moses Ingram's Reva in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com) has now shared some interesting new details about the character. Explaining that her storyline is crucial to how the Disney+ series plays out, the site confirms that we'll see the Sith Inquisitor taken from her family as a child to become a Jedi Padawan.

After facing execution during Order 66, she's presented with a choice: become a killer for Darth Vader or die. Like many of the surviving Jedi, she allows herself to be corrupted, but "Ben" Kenobi emphasises with Reva's perspective. He doesn't condone her heinous actions, but understands why she's doing these things (especially as he can relate to her disillusionment surrounding the Jedi Order).

While Kenobi and Reva will battle each other in the show, he doesn't try to kill her and places faith in her ultimately doing the right thing...even if it means Vader will eventually strike her down.

"Over the course of six chapters," the site explains, "audiences will meet Reva as she flees capture, is caught, and turned into a stone cold killer. We will see the Grand Inquisitor belittle her ability and potential. We will see how she has been pitted against the 5th Brother in a rivalry that only stands to make her lose her humanity."

They go on to suggest that Reva's turning point will come when she's presented with the consequences of killing a child (presumably Luke or Leia), which could be her moment of redemption. We haven't seen the character in any other Star Wars projects, so assume this is where her story begins and ends. There's also a chance she'll become a major player in this Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres with its first two episodes on Disney+ on May 27.
