San Diego Comic-Con when he announced that a new
Evil Dead television series was in development. The only concrete information that he provided was that he was currently in the process of writing it with Bruce Campbell, Rob Tapert and his brother Ivan Raimi. Once news hit the web everyone wanted to know if
Bruce Campbell would reprise his role as
'Ash,' and according to this tweet from the actor, he will!
Campbell previously starred in the original
Evil Dead, the sequels
Evil Dead II and
Army of Darkness. He made a "groovy" cameo in the
Evil Dead reboot, that was light on humor and heavy on the gore.
