A few years ago, THQ's Australian Studio was developing a tie-in game for Joss Whedon's mega-blockbuster,
The Avengers. It would've allowed the gamer to play from the first-person perspective of Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. It was written by five-time Eisner award winning comic book writer, Brian Michael Bendis. In the film, The Avengers fought the Chitauri, but THQ's game would've pitted the super-team against Marvel's extraterrestrial shapeshifters, the Skrulls. Sadly, the game was never finished, and all that remains is concept art and three minutes of gameplay footage. Which you can view
here. Below, you will find more concept art from the game created by
James Brouwer.
Also, James, along with Darren Randall ("Happy Feet 2") and fellow
Avengers video game concept artist, Jeremy Love, have launched a new
Kickstarter for Teen High Zombie Squard (Click Here). They are hoping backers will fund their campaign so that they can create a 120 page
Teen High Zombie Squard graphic novel. Which centers around four classmates, who don't have a lot in common, come together to save their school and their town from an invasion. To find out more about the project please view their
Kickstarter video below.
