Charlie's Angels Director McG To Helm NBC's Wonder Woman Pilot?

From various reports, the director of both Charlie's Angels movies may take on the Amazon Princess in NBC's Wonder Woman pilot, which will launch the new series. Check it out!

According to TV Line and several other sites, McG, director of the Charlie's Angels remake, may take on the pilot for David E. Kelley's newly greenlit Wonder Woman series for NBC & Warner Bros. TV. The reports say verbatim:

"Sources confirm to me exclusively that McG has emerged as the odds-on favorite to direct the pilot for NBC’s much-hyped Wonder Woman remake. Sources stress that there are no talks going on as McG has not met on the project yet, but word is that he is considered a fronturnner for the job."


McG's previous TV directing gigs include pilots for Chuck and Fastlane, both projects developed and produced by McG's company. Also, being that this IS just the pilot, McG's direction could make or break the much-anticipated series. What do you think?

surely it can't be any worse than "smallville" or "the cape".

"smallville" raised the bar to how all comic book shows must be measured against.

at the moment on a scale 0-10,"smallville" is about 1,so it won't be that hard to beat.

Gotta say I also think this show is a recipe for disaster... Let's face it, she can't walk in the streets with the same suit she did in the comics, it'll look ridiculous. And if they go the gritty side, changing her looks to "fit in", the fans will scream: Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

When you direct a Pilot, you are in charge of a lot, i think your involved in casting etc. as well, and how the initial portrayal takes place.

McG is a famous face, he did Terminator and Supernatural as well.

@NERO, I actually prefer Ratner. "The Last Stand" was still far better than "Terminator Salvation", and I actually quite enjoyed "After The Sunset".
