Yeah, kind of a slow news day...But, since FOX is still keeping us guessing on what to expect from the next chapter in the X-Men franchise, I thought this was something worth posting.

So, it looks like that The Senate Visual Effects has been added to provide some more visual effects shots for X-Men: First Class. They've worked on number of films such as Hellboy II, 28 Weeks Later, Angels & Demons and on two Matthew Vaughn-directed films Stardust and the recent comic book film Kick-Ass.

There are already four companies working on VFX and below you can check out their names and some of the work they have done in the past:

WETA DIGITAL:

- X-Men: The Last Stand
- Lord of the Rings
- District 9

Rhythm & Hues:

- The Incredible Hulk
- X-Men 2
- Superman Returns

Luma Pictures:

- Hancock
- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine

The Moving Picture Company:

- Watchmen
- Sunshine
- Batman Begins

Wolvie: The effects in Wolverine were very rushed and poorly done, so as for the visual part, First Class should be good. I really do hope we will see something from the film very soon...

I would have to say because no one visual company wants to take ownership of this movie...they don't want the blame if it fails...HAhaHA!!!...just kidding it could be because they are all very busy or each company is focusing on specific powers of the characters like do in animation with certain people draw certain characters...in the end who knows...

Who cares? This movie is going to fall flat on its face. I hope Marvel gets to take its property back and re-imagine it the way it should have been in the first place.

I don't like being in the middle. I absolutely LOVE X-Men but I absolutely HATE FOX. I don't know what to think of this movie yet.

Every Matthew Vaughn movie has been great, Layer Cake, Stardust, Kick-Ass, etc. I've been a long time X-men fan so any new mutant movie will have my attention no matter what and I’ll find something enjoyable in it. The production for this movie does feel rather rushed but it's a Matthew Vaughn X-men movie so I'm in.

Also January Jones is an inspired casting choice for Emma Frost, yes she would have been a good Sue in the Fantastic 4 reboot but oh well Vaughn got her first. Also to tie up continuity errors between First Class Emma and X-men Origins: Wolverine Emma this could be her mother in First Class.

Caught Black Swan the other day at a local indie cinema and I really can’t wait for Darren Aronofsky’s take on Wolverine. Judging my some interviews with Aronofsky “The Wolverine” seems like it’s going to be very interesting. He’s worked with Jackman before on The Fountain so they should get it.

The future seems brighter for X-men after the bad taste that was left with X-men The Last Stand and Origins.

when will people understand that it's in their best interest to boycott this movie? if the x-men can't produce $$$$$$ signs to FOX then they'll give it up back to marvel and we can actually see what should have been!
but NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... ppl have to see this film just because "X-MEN" is slapped on the title!

visual effects start earlier.

They started filming on september, so as soon as they had any action scene filmed, they give the material to the special effects company to work with them.

Multiple special effects companies work on every movie these days. Just look at the credits of any sci-fi/fantasy/action-adventure movie. They often handle different elements - for instance in the Narnia movies, one company would do the Aslan effects. etc.

Whatever you may think of Fox etc, this isn't really 'news', it's just a piece of information.

And, yes, the effects work doesn't happen in a hurry at the end. Special effects companies begin work on designs etc before filming has started and then work on the footage as it is filmed. They don't shoot the entire movie and then find companies to quickly add in the FX.

Boycotting this is silly because Fox holds the rights for ever. And if fanboys and geeks had any power at all, then Scott Pilgrim, Kick-Ass, Watchmen and Tron Legacy would all be billion-dollar blockbusters. The fact is that a few nerds don't make or break a movie. But if you don't want to see it, then don't. Watching it for free is silly - it means you do care about the film after all. If you really don't want to see it, then just don't talk about it, don't show you care about it, and don't see it.

One other thing comes to mind - even if, by some magic, all the rights at other studios went back to Marvel, how is Marvel going to afford to make X-Men, Deadpool, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Daredevil and Fantastic Four movies? It released one movie last year (Iron Man 2), releases two this year (Thor, Cap America) and one the year after that (Avengers), then one the year after (Iron Man 3). Where is all the cash coming from for loads of other movies, such as X-Men, Deadpool, etc? It may be owned by Disney but clearly Disney isn't just opening its bank vaults up to Marvel or we'd be seeing severail films a year. The fact is that Marvel can manage one or two releases a year, so even if they did have all the rights, I doubt they could suddenly make all these movies you want.

@TheGeekFiles I totally agree with you dude but shame fully no one will look at it like that how ever. well disney did pay whole load of money to acquire the rights to distribute the Avengers and IM3 so it does look like that they are opening the bank a little bit
