I don't know what to think about those last few for Shaw and Havok. Beast is pretty cool though.

Whoa. Shaw looks very different in that concept art. Did they have another actor in mind before they cast Kevin Bacon?

Would've much rather had any of those beast designs over the one we got...looks likehavok could've been way cooler too!

@Gambit89, see, I think that's when Fox interferes with the production and goes "Oh, well, use red beams so he'll seem more like Cyclops." Beast looks pretty beast

For all of them, the reason they have different faces is simply that they probably hadn't cast the actors yet. But they had an idea of gender/age so they got some models(may even be the concept artist themselves). Concept work starts before actors are casted. Basically these guys are just models. They could be the relatives of the artists.

I think Havok should have been portrayed like that one. Seems very powerful. Beast they clearly though about going more in the direction of last stand. Though practicality clearly won out. The suit cover most of the body, and thus the actor doesn't die from all that crap on him.

When it comes to color for Havok. I have kinda been a fan of the idea that if they are related to each other then should the energy be the same color?

Havok looks awesome. I didn't hate the red, and yeah, like Giznad said, they probably just wanted someone who could fill in for Cyclops visually.

Banshee looks horrible though. Glad they went in a different direction. Kind of wish he was Irish, though.

@storyteller, good point.

It seemed like they wanted to reconnect X-Men 3 to First Class with that costume.

@Tainted87, Fox deserves a slap in the face for accents of everyone. Storm, Colossus, Banshee and Moira, and Gambit was not done very well.

People let this film off way too easy. If you asked me a couple of years ago who would be the best on-screen bad guy; Sebastian Shaw or Bane, I would have said Shaw all the way. He just isn't the memorable villain he should be.

It's good compared the the past few X films, but nothing on what an X-Men film should be like.

prefer concept art Beast, the movie version looks ridiculous. agree that Shaw could have been better written and casted

think major problem with Beast is that they brought his hairline down over his nose.
