The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past's huge all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Cudmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters and Ellen Page, and it went on sale digitally today with a DVD and Blu-ray release set for October 14th.

An extended "Rogue Cut" of X-Men: Days of Future Past was recently announced and you can read more on that by clicking here. Meanwhile, Simon Kinberg's comments on everything from how Wolverine will get his Adamantium claws to whether we'll see Bishop in X-Men: Apocalypse and the odds of characters like Cable and Scarlet Witch turning up can be found by clicking here.

Cool character but pretty much served no purpose in the film. Pretty much the Fox-Men standard.

I really liked Bishop and the casting, but I think there could have been more scenes with him. I would have liked if Bishop explained that he and the new mutants were a team, a resistance force and they are what's left and he formed the first militant mutant organisation, a Camp X-Ray escapee, builds a global network of mutant resistance dubbed the “Free Mutants” like in the viral marketing for DOFP. Also, Bishop could have shared his experiences in that camp and Magneto empathizing with him because of his past in a concentration camp and would have been a nice character moment.

Bishop was in DOFP? I'll take your word for it.

It wasn't good casting at all. Bishop spoke with a French accent. Bishop is not French! To be honest, I don't even think he looked like him at all. Clearly not much effort went into Bishop because he only had a few lines. So typical of Singer.

Bishop was pretty cool in the movie, despite his screentime, but can someone explain to me why Bishop didn't just release the energy that the Sentinels were shooting at him into the gun instead of exploding from too much energy?

Another classic character gets the Fox-Men treatment....

Just re-watched the part where he explodes. He got loaded with energy pretty badly. I'm guessing he still would have died.

Omar Sy is a great actor, the only problem is he can't speak a word of English... Of course a French bishop is even more frightening in my opinion.

Trolls, trolls, trolls everywhere. Whether its a Avengers article or a Interstellar article or even an interstellar article involving the Avengers there is always something to complain about.

@DatGuy

I like Bishop and I don't want an American character turned French. What the hell is wrong with that? He was just used a throwaway for the film too. Respect the character or don't use him.

Bryan Singer may make good movies but he'll never actually GET the X-Men. He only made the films because he saw a parallel between mutants and homosexuals. Not a good reason to adapt a comic book you've never read.

I dont get the people on here they flipped their shit about hawkeye's role & screen time but they're fine when Singer treats loads of famous x-men characters as redshirts or gets them wrong?

BRING ON MORE OMAR AS BISHOP, GREAT ACTOR!

maybe we will see more of him later. I think they could have introduced more people as well. Instead of having kitty pryde send him back, which made no sense to add that to her powers, you could have introduced an older Forge who had built a machine to do that, then when you go back in time you can find the younger forge and have him help you, then now you have an all new character for all the new movies, that is something you could have done with many characters, angel, storm, and anyone else you would like to see added, my one real complaint about x-men dofp (which dont get me wrong, i enjoyed the movie) is that their was never an actual x-men team formed for the final fight which i was hoping was against the sentinels seeing as you "needed" magneto even though he was actually completely useless to your cause.

this movie stunk, put brown leather on everyone and call it the 70s, xavior was a drug addict, beast transformation was dumb and bone claws. Magneto still being the main villain for no reason are just a few things that stunk it up. Still never got to see x-men battle sentinels just got to watch the future Destroyer ones do work on pee on future x-men.
