Paddington 3 Is In The Works
It looks like a follow-up to the delightful Paddington 2 is going to happen at some point... but without director Paul King.
While chatting to Collider, producer David Heyman confirmed plans for a third adventure but expressed doubts about King - who wrote and helmed the first two - returning to direct.
"Paul is involved in it," revealed Heyman. "I wanted him to be involved in it because I think he’s such a significant voice, but I don’t think he’ll direct it."
Kevin Smith Reckons Jared Leto's Joker Movie Might Be Shelved
Despite the trades claiming that WB still has a solo movie based around Jared Leto's Joker in the works, many fans doubt it'll see the light of day now that Todd Philips' film is in production, and it seems Kevin Smith is in agreement.
On the latest edition of Fatman Beyond, the fanboy director praised Joaquin Phoenix's work while sharing his thoughts on the other Joker movie that's supposedly on the way.
“He’s a great actor. I’ll watch him do anything. Seeing him take on this role, I’ve been curious from the jump. But I’m also of the belief that you could make a bunch of these. You could make six Joker movies, I’ll see all of them. Half of them will probably be really good. So, you know, they’re not planning that, but they were talking about making this one and the Jared Leto one. It feels like the Jared Leto one quietly goes away, based on this one.”
It's worth pointing out that Smith most likely isn't sharing any inside info here and is simply speculating, but it is always possible that he heard something about the project.
The Walking Dead Showrunner Defends Last Night's "Fake-Out" Episode
Though many fans of The Walking Dead were happy that Rick wasn't killed-off last night, quite a few also felt "trolled" by the episode and believe the whole thing was simply a cheap ploy by AMC to drive up ratings.
There was quite a bit of online backlash after the episode aired, and showrunner Scott Gimple has defended the decision to continue Rick's story during an interview with THR.
"I hope it isn't treated like a cliffhanger," he says. "It's a promise of more story, but I suppose cliffhangers in general are looked upon a certain way. I imagine no matter which way the story went, there would be people who loved it and people who hated it. I hope not for the latter, but I just think literally every entertainment that comes out now, that's what happens."
New Deadly Class Trailer

Deadly Class is set to premiere on January 16.
Ryan Coogler Is Playing It Cool About Black Panther 2
Though it has been confirmed that Black Panther Ryan Coogler will return to helm the sequel, the director is not quite ready to discuss his plans for T'Challa's second solo adventure. In fact, he's not even prepared to admit that he's involved.
Coogler was asked about Black Panther 2 while accepting the IndieWire Visionary Award for his work on the first film, and responded with: “I got nothing… I don’t know nothing… It is true, I’m telling you. I don’t know.”
Well, that's certainly one way to keep the fans guessing!
