Anyone play the new family guy game??? Any good?

@ACira That's the sort of thing I mean. There was character development in The Simpsons movie - Family Guy doesn't seem to have stuff like that. Marge and Homer have a relationship that really means something. Family Guy did an episode where Lois kept cheating on Peter.

I don't know, I can't really imagine a Family Guy movie - I mean the episodes have some of the loosest plots ever, and they do rely heavily on the jokes. I guess it might follow some ques from the 'Road To...' episodes, they're the most plot heavy and tend to be the best episodes (Road to Rhode Island is one of their best episodes)... I just don't know, I mean there have been hour long episodes, not just the 'Road to...' eps but certain specials like the 150th episode, and 'And Then There Were Fewer' showed it can work for that long, but could Family Guy work as a potentially 1 hour 30 min movie?

There again, half an hour might be taken up by Peter and Ernie the Giant Chicken fighting, or one of those [frick]ing annoying scenes where one of them trips and holds their knee (or boob, in Lois' case) for what feels like a lifetime.

Still, I love me some Family Guy; if nothing else, you can always count on it for some fun, and occasionally you get some smart satire, clever and cool pop-culture references, and catchy musical numbers.

Actually, I can imagine Macfarlane making the movie a musical.

@AaronianKenrod is that the episode with Bill Clinton? Can't think of any others where they cheat on each other, but the point of that episode isn't that they're ready and willing to cheat on each other whenever they want, it's a joke about Clinton's seemingly supernatural ability to seduce anyone - Peter even sleeps with him at the end of the episode.

Family Guy is very comparable to The Simpsons, but it's slightly more mean-spirited; whereas The Simpsons can work as a family show, Family Guy is just over the line to the point that kids shouldn't watch and it's a bit more different to the Simpsons. It's a bit edgier, and a bit more surreal, especially the cutaway gags and the way the plots progress (I love how something simple like [made up scenario] Peter could go out to buy some toothpaste, spend all his money buying a racehorse, the racehorse could be killed, then Peter could volunteer for government experiments and become a living human blob with no bones, only for everything to be back to normal by the end of the episode).

American Dad was fresh, but now it's stale, like everything else Seth created. Ted was [frick]ing awesome, but that's it.

I guess I would watch it haha but I'd rather c South Park 2 tho XD
