ANT-MAN: Hank Pym's Company Logo/Name Revealed
It's nothing much, but a photo has surfaced on Instagram featuring an Ant-Man extra in a Security Guard uniform, which features a first look at Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) company name and logo!
Ever since filming for Ant-Man moved from San Francisco to Atlanta last month, the chance of getting set photos, or anything remotely interesting from the Marvel production, has been slim to none. It even seems Marvel has put an end to actress Evangeline Lilly's subtle Ant-Man posts on Instagram. However, I just stumbled across a somewhat interesting post on the photo-sharing service which features one of the movie extras dressed in his uniform. While the photo's caption reveals the uploader, whose name I'll keep anonymous, is playing a Security Guard, his cap reveals he'll be employed at none other than Pym Technologies. Check out the logo below!
So, instead going with the simple Pym Particles, like in the comics, Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) company name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be Pym Technologies. The name-change probably comes from the inclusion of Darren Cross (Corey Stoll), who runs Cross Technological Enterprises in the comics, and is said to take over Pym's company in the Ant-Man movie as well as acquire Pym's particles to become Yellowjacket. Or, perhaps, "technologies" is just less specific.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris, John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film will release July 17, 2015
