Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Angela Bassett looks set to become the first MCU actor to receive an Oscar for their work in the long-running franchise, but could Jonathan Majors be next?
Following his memorable appearance as He Who Remains in Loki, the actor returns to play Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and is clearly giving this role his all. The villain, who we now know has been banished to the Quantum Realm, appears utterly unhinged as he declares "I am Kang!" in this newly released TV spot.
The truth of the matter, of course, is he's just one of countless Kang Variants who exist in the Multiverse, and that knowledge may be what's pushed him over the edge.
As many of you have mentioned, Scott Lang is getting the lion's share of screentime in these previews, and the hero is shown pulling off some impressive moves as he rampages through the Quantum Realm. He's going to put it all on the line to defeat Kang, though we do hope The Wasp isn't sidelined too much.
Check out this new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania TV spot below.
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17.
