Tom Hiddleston's 'Loki' To Play A Key Role In AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR PART I & II

Remember when The Other told Loki that Thanos would make him pay if he failed him? While it was a given that the God of Mischief will return in Thor: Ragnarok, a new report reveals that Kevin Feige has confirmed that he will also play a big role in the Avengers: Infinity War as well...

According to Digital Spy, it has been confirmed that Tom Hiddleston's Loki will be featured "heavily" in a number of the recently announced Marvel movies. They state that Kevin Feige has revealed that the villain - who currently sits on the throne of Asgard disguised as Odin - will be back in both Thor: Ragnarok AND Avengers: Infinity War, something which obviously makes a lot of sense when you look back at the events of The Avengers. Loki lost the sceptre belonging to Thanos when he failed to take over Earth, and going into Avengers: Age of Ultron, it's now in the posession of HYDRA's Baron von Strucker. The Other (now dead at the hands of Ronan as we saw in Guardians of the Galaxy) warned Loki that there would be consequences if he failed his master and things really couldn't have gone any worse seeing as Thanos lost a huge chunk of his army, one of the Infinity Stones and the Tesseract. How do you guys feel about Loki being in Avengers: Infinity War?

I've been hearing lately that people have been getting tired of Loki, but I love this news. It just makes so much sense that the Avengers' first major villain will also factor in their last major battle. Helps bring things full-circle, in a way. Awesome!

@TheAmbassador I don't think he's ever heard of Thanos. Everyone in, maybe, GOTG did and they know what he's capable of. Loki on the other hand is just like "Okay, if this guy can help me be a king then so be it." At least that's what I think/

Most epic idea for a scene that MUST BE FEATURED:

After Thanos gets the Gauntlet, he's having a discussion with Loki, who starts going ballistic on Thanos because Loki wants to rule the universe by his side, or whatever. A huge verbal battle between then ensures, and then when Thanos finally has enough, we get a first look at what the Gauntlet is capable of by Thanos obliterating Loki. Evil Smile by Thanos.

I've seen the theory has caught on, but I definitely think Loki wanted to lose in order to be taken back to Asgard. He is playing a long con, and Thanos is in on it.
