There have been persistent rumors that a disillusioned Steve Rogers will be ditching the mantle of Captain America for Nomad in Avengers: Infinity War, and now Chris Evans seems to have confirmed it.
Instagram user mkgschultre managed to get her Cap shield signed by both Evans and Sebastian Stan at ACE Comic-Con in Pheonix over the weekend, and as you can see, both actors made it a point to sign "Nomad" as part of their messages.

Of course, at this point we know Rogers will be sporting his traditional costume (or a version of it, anyway) for at least a portion of the film, but there's always a chance he will also don the outfit that "pays homage" to the caped blue and yellow uniform from the comics that we've heard about.
Evans and Stan could simply be poking fun at the rumor here, but if not, it seems like solid confirmation that the Sentinel of Liberty will indeed be utilizing a new superhero identity when he returns to take on Thanos and his forces.
