During the Easter weekend, Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista made an appearance at Awesome Con in Washington, D.C. and talk inevitably turned to Avengers: Infinity War. While the WWE Superstar turned actor couldn't reveal anything about the upcoming Marvel Studios movie, he did confirm that executive producer James Gunn actually wrote lines of dialogue for all of the Guardians.
Bautista didn't get into any specifics beyond that but it makes sense that the filmmaker would be involved in this way, especially as he's said from the start he'd be keeping an eye on the characters.
Throw in the fact that Avengers: Infinity War screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are known for more serious affairs like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War, and you can't blame the Russo Brothers for bringing in Gunn in to make sure the Guardians keep their trademark wit.
This movie is also going to serve as a springboard for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 so it's definitely good to hear this about Gunn's involvement. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts below.
